Your Hosts

Meet the Dark Masquerade team! Chris, Helen, Joff, Lucy, Tam and Dom are the organisers of the Dark Masquerade endeavor, and will be dealing with everything from tickets sales to on-the-night organisation. General queries to all the organisers should be directed to organisers@masquerade-ball.org.uk

Chris

Chris NadenChris Naden is a network engineer currently working for Demon Internet. He has been involved in entertainment production while at university, and has a bad habit of dressing up in Oxford and acting the fool. His primary responsibility within the Organiser team has been technical, looking after email and hosting for the project. If you work out which mask is his, buy him a double port. He can be contacted at chris@masquerade-ball.org.uk

Helen

Helen WalterHelen Walter has lived in the Oxford area for most of her life, and has been an active part of the Gothic/Alternative scene in both Oxford and London for longer than she's been legal. She is responsible for website maintenance and production and online ticket sales, and queries, broken links and compatability problems should be reported to her at helen@masquerade-ball.org.uk. If you work out which mask she's hiding behind, tell her off for smoking, she's supposed to be giving up.

Joff

JoffJoff Leader is a video editor and musician living in Oxford who spends far too much time hanging around students for his own good. He is in charge of sound and music for the evening - everything from hiring the decks to propitiating the Randolph staff to sourcing the DJs.

Dom

DomDominic Carroll is an experienced mask-maker, guitarist, singer-songwriter, playwright, dramaturge, stilt-walker, fire-dancer and physical performer. His family often want to know when he's going to make something of himself.

He organises Firecat Masquerade - who will once again be providing you with entertainments, enlightenments and strange new dreams. He'll be the one stealing kisses and making a spectacle of himself."

Lucy

LucyLucy is more usually found in African war-zones or training relief workers in how to minimise their risk in conflict areas. Having worked in relief and development for more years than she cares to admit to, she has recently become a freelance consultant, trainer and qualified NLP coach. After assisting with performance and costumes for the 2006 Ball, she's been roped in to take care of budgets, ticket sales and other organisational issues. She'll be the first under the table in the event of any large explosive type noises.

Tam

TamTam Hatton-Brown is a project manager, based in London. A longstanding member of the York and London Goth/alternative scenes, and sometime live roleplayer, she enjoyed last year's ball so much that she offered her skills to the organisers for this year.
